Ubaldo Villani-Lubelli

Ubaldo Villani-Lubelli has a Ph.D in historical disciplines from the University of Lecce (Italy) and University of Cologne (Germany) and the Habilitation as Professor (Professore Associato, ASN 2018-2024) in History of Political Doctrines and Political Institutions. He is research assistant at the Law Department of the University of Salento and DAAD Fellow. His main research interests are in the areas of European Integration Process and German political history in the 20th century. He is currently working on a number of projects, including research on democracy and the nation in Germany from the Weimar Republic to the Berlin Republic and on the democratization of the European Union.
